About 2nd Glen Waverley Scout Group

Our Mission

The 2nd Glen Waverley Scout Group is dedicated to providing Scouting of the highest quality to the youth members in our group. This is achieved by investing motivated and caring adults as leaders, who are fully qualified to train the youth members in their care.

Scout Scarf Colours

The Group Scarf is made in a Maroon colour with Black and Gold braiding sewn around the perimeter of the scarf.

The Maroon represents the colour of the Glen Waverley Scout District.

The Black and Gold braiding represents the colours of the 2nd Glen Waverley Scout Group.

The Napier Park / Glen Waverley area around Dandenong Creek Glen Waverley was formerly known as "Black Flats", thus the colour of the Black braiding.

The 2nd Glen Waverley Venturer Unit has its own Scarf consisting of a fine Blue and White checked material with a Blue braiding around the perimeter of the Scarf.

The 2nd Glen Waverley (Black Flats) Rover Crew has its own Scarf consisting of a Black material with a braiding with the words "Black Flats" embroidered around the perimeter of the Scarf.
